THE FLORIDA CHAPTER of the AUTHORS GUILD hosts the bad boy of writing, author and renowned professor (buddhistboy.com), Ira Sukrungruang who travels from Kenyon College where he was recently appointed the Richard L. Thomas Professor of Creative Writing.
The author of three nonfiction books Buddha’s Dog & other Meditations, Southside Buddhist and Talk Thai: The Adventures of Buddhist Boy, the short story collection The Melting Season, Ira received the 2015 American Book Award. Awards: New York Foundation for the Arts Fellowship in Nonfiction Literature, an Arts and Letters Fellowship and the Emerging Writer Fellowship.
He is the president of Sweet: A Literary Confection, a 501c3 nonprofit organization.
YouTube advocate and trainer Diane Kutz shares outstanding tips for writers who want to add to their "author platforms" and she demonstrates how to build your YouTube channel.

Robyn covers the tools you'll need for creating an engaging podcast and how to apply what you learn in today's session, immediately, to your goal for increased visibility (and reader fan base). For more than 16 years, she worked in corporate training and sales for big ol' corporations. Now, she helps ambitious folks launch the success of their content, teams, and projects using the power of a personal brand.
