WordSmitten and AuthorsGuild.org :: Saturday 4 PM - NYT Journalist/Author

Details
What: FREE event courtesy of the Authors Guild. Join us to hear Alix Strauss, frequent contributor to The New York Times, an author of fiction and nonfiction published by St. Martin's Press and HarperCollins.
Limited Zoom seating so we suggest an early RSVP for Saturday, August 15 at 4 PM, immediately following our advanced members workshop.
Our automated system charged $15.00 for the 4 PM event, but the Authors Guild agreed to pay for the speakers fee, so WordSmitten does not have to charge a fee (the audience goes wild--yaaay).
When: Saturday, August 15 (after the workshop) from 4 PM to 5 PM.
Link to the online sessions will be sent to workshop members who are registered and who have sent an RSVP.
Who: WordSmitten and AuthorsGuild.org Florida Chapter - Special Guest Speaker Journalist and four-time author Alix Strauss.
Why Attend: Open to advanced writers who are working on fiction (a novel or short story collection) or nonfiction (personal memoir, how-to, history, biography).
This writing workshop is for those who are interested in learning how to approach literary agents with a professional query letter, to revise their manuscripts, to form critique groups and "workshop" their stories.
