🗣 Nicola Heald - Writing your first Gutenberg block.

This talk is aimed at folks who want to get up and running writing their own custom Gutenberg blocks as quickly and easily as possible - all you need to get started is some basic JavaScript knowledge. We’ll look at using a zero-configuration tool and learn a bit of JSX to help us create a brand new block… and there’s even a live demo!

Nicola is a software developer with 20+ years of experience. Ex-Canonical, HP, IBM, currently at Automattic working on exciting additions to the block editor. She's enthusiastic about blocks, helping new developers getting to grips with Javascript, transparency, communication, inclusion and Radiohead. Give her chocolate.
