Learn to Sell Stuff on WordPress Using WooCommerce – Curtis McHale Cancellation
Details
Update: Curtis McHale has cancelled his presentation at WordPress Workshop.
Curtis contacted me a few days ago to say, "my wife now has an emergency board meeting and we have a rule we don't do babysitters for evenings except date nights."
It's not that Curtis can't meet his obligation, he just won't because of self-imposed rules. This "rules" rational is in line with his refusal to reschedule his cancelled (due to illness) February appearance, when I asked him to come in March:
"I already have one commitment that week and I stick to one ‘travel’ thing a week even if it is just in Chilliwack for a coffee thing."
As you can imagine, Curtis McHale will not be invited back to WordPress Workshop.
So, I have decided to conduct the workshop myself, having worked with WooCommerce for the past year on a number of different kinds of sites. I may not have the deeper developer knowledge that Curtis does, but at least I will show up as promised.
I hope you still plan to attend, but if you cancel out of disappointment I won't be offended. I am disappointed too.
Thanks for your patience and I hope to see you tomorrow night.
cheers,
Mari
