Watch a film adaptation of Don Quijote

  • Former Residence of the Ambassadors of Spain

  • Join us for the screening of Don Quijote by Rafael Gil on December 15. This screening is part of Don Quijote de Cine, a film series that compiles five film adaptations of the classic Miguel de Cervantes novel commemorating the 400th anniversary of Cervantes' death.

Don Quixote by Rafael Gil is the first sound film version in Spanish of the great classic novel by Miguel de Cervantes Saavedra, and it was the longest film version of the novel up to that time. Faithful to the storyline of the novel, the film follows the book in its dialogue and order of episodes, unlike other film versions that scrambled up the order of the adventures.

Viewing of this film is free but you must RSVP to reserve your seat. Space is limited, so please sign up soon to ensure you can attend at

We will grab drinks and dinner at a local bar after the viewing.

I look forward to seeing you!

    Tara :-)
