Tai Chi is a wonderful holistic art that promotes a balance between mind and body. If you have done Tai Chi before or are new to Tai Chi this meetup will enable you to get started straight away.
We start with a gentle warm up that eases gently into the right mindset for the rest of the session. Tai Chi patterns and the energy focus of Qi Gong will also be part of the evening session. My system of Tai Chi is front facing. This allows for greater visibility of the Tai Chi at all times.
The overall goal of this meetup is to continue developing a group of Tai Chi enthusiasts.
We are 11 members currently for the Monday evening class. In case you wondering a "Follower" is a meetup person who follows a group. The majority of my members have been coming for a few years, but we allow for new enthusiasts to come along and join in.
Most of my members are not on Meetup, so the number attending through the app is not representative of the size of the group.
I would describe the overall vibe of the group as very casual and friendly. We take 2 breaks within the session as this I feel is essential to keep the sense of relaxation.
