Details
As part of our #GetOnlineWeek series in partnership with CityFibre, the aim of this event is to highlight the importance of mental health in digital, in work, in life.
Hear from Louise Harman, winner of the Social Impact Award 2021, University of Sussex.
WHY I PUT MY NAME NEXT TO DEATH: ART, DEATH AND CURIOSITY
Louise On Death is an early-stage social enterprise looking to launch in the latter half of 2021. The vision is to build a brand and community, including a digital platform, that unashamedly and creatively explores death, an idea that formed as Louise embarked on her master’s thesis about narrative theory, photography, and death.
During this talk, Louise will reflect on how and why she put her name next to death, and the role the arts and curiosity can play in helping us cope with the unknown and ultimately death.
This event is in person at Freedom Works Digital Hub in Worthing. We'll carry on the conversation at a nearby pub afterwards. All welcome to join in.
