B.A.N.G.
"Barter & Networking Group" has been redesigned with the goal of becoming Winnipeg's number one business owner orientated community. This will be achieved through hosting a series of workshops, teaching unique skills that business owners may only learn through years of experience. These workshops will attract a diverse culture of business owners, potential business owners, and non-business owners.

Barter?
Have you ever offered beer & pizza to friends if they help you move? That's barter. Instead of having to hire an expensive moving crew, you find someone (in this case your friends) willing to do the work for a resource you already have. This lowers your cash spent, while providing a win win for both parties.

SUPPORT LOCAL BUSINESSES
Come show your love, meet local businesses, and have a blast, as we host some of the best workshops this year!!

Workshops?
Each workshop is a 2-4 hour hands on class offered by one of our local business owners. Come take the time to meet new people, learn about new local businesses in Winnipeg, and have fun learning a hands on activity.

Is there a cost?
All of our workshops are completely free. We believe that those who need the information the most, are likely those who have the least to spend. Free also creates a fun family oriented environment too. We also aim to have free coffee at every workshop as well.

Sales pitch?
While promoting the phrase free, there will be no sales permitted during the workshop. It's purely about getting to know new people, learning cool stuff, and having fun in the process. The local business owner who's hosting the workshop will be covering the costs of the workshop, with the hopes that you stay connected with them for a long term relationship. We hope that if you're satisfied with the amazing skills they've taught you, you could at least become their friend.

Location?
Ideally, these workshops will be held at the local business owner's store or place of work. If not, we can utilize Winnipeg library meeting rooms. We try and keep the workshops towards central Winnipeg as a good portion of our attendees use Winnipeg Transit.

Community
We're very passionate about building real relationships with everyone around us, and want to work with others who feel the same. Although, we can only talk to the same people for so long, it doesn't have to be that way. It's important to bring someone new with you to every workshop in order to build our community, help that someone new learn something cool, and help create those real human connections that keeps our community so unique!!

Have questions?
Simply send us a message, and we'll get back to you as soon as possible.
