Details

This meetup we are meeting to discuss UX writing processes.

Our first speaker is Natasha Sarana, UX Writer at FlixMobility, covering:

The UX Research team at FlixMobility have been trying to include UX Writing in their research routine. Natasha shares the main challenges they faced so far and how they deal with them.

Our second speaker Information Architect and freelance UX Writer Roger Fienhold Sheen will talk about how the UI copy process at Wire evolved as the product matured.

He’ll talk about gathering and aligning copy from source code, moving it to dedicated strings files to facilitate version control and localization and setting up collaboration workflows with developers and external partners.

**Accessibility notice (Updated 09 March)**:

The meetup will take place on the ground floor of the Humanitec office building. The main entrance to the building is wheelchair accessible but the room itself is separated by a door that can only be opened manually. If you have any accessibility questions or concerns, please contact Brian Lemke directly.

**Health notice**:

We have decided to not cancel the event in the wake of Coronavirus, but we ask (based on current German recommendations) that you do the following:

- Please stay home if you feel even slightly sick, or have travelled to any widely affected areas in the past 14 days.
- Cover your mouth and nose if you cough or sneeze.
- Keep your hands clean with sanitizer or soapy water, especially when handling food.
- Resist the urge to handshake, something we are all learning rapidly.

If you no longer feel like attending because of any recent events that's fine. Keep your RSVP up to date.

**Livestream**

We're trying a livestream via the Podcast YouTube channel.

It should be this URL - https://youtu.be/fNRtkkICEqw

Or keep an eye on - https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCUI--N-VWjK93292AaaArCg

If that doesn’t work. This is an experiment!

Stream starts at 18:45 (6.45pm) UTC+1
