EVENT DESCRIPTION
Write the Docs Ottawa and Shopify are pleased to invite you to a remote edition of Write the Docs Ottawa! Join us to meet your fellow documentation enthusiasts on-line, including developers, technical writers, customer support, and anyone else who cares about supporting great experiences with software.
For this edition we are very pleased to have Angela Counter, Kathleen Cauley, and Jeremy Kuzub to join us for a series of lightning talks about stress, productivity, and strategies for dealing with overwhelm.
About Angela:
Angela Counter is a technical writer lead working on end user documentation for Shopify. She's interested in tools and systems that make work easier to manage and complete so that tech writers can spend more time developing great content and trying new things. When not working on docs, Angela is an avid knitter and amateur naturalist.
Angela will talk about being more deliberate in creating daily rituals for work, understanding what you can and can't change, and the impact of recognizing your own small successes.

About Kathleen:
Kathleen leads the KM Projects team at Shopify which builds tailored, simple, and sustainable knowledge solutions for teams across the company. She manages cross functional KM projects which endeavour to capture and activate the company’s intellectual capital. Kathleen's recent speaking engagements include Intranet Reloaded 2020, KM World 2019, and an internal talk for Phillip's multinational KM team. Kathleen is an active outdoorsperson and musician.
