Contribute to open source projects for Hacktoberfest!
The first Bradford Write the Docs meetup is here. Come and meet us, and join in our workshop on GitHub. Our aim is to support first-time GitHub users to get familiar with open source and the basics of GitHub, and empower them to contribute to projects.
This meetup is for all skill levels and interests. There is a wide range of projects to help with. Make sure to bring your own laptop!
Hacktoberfest is an open source community event. The goal is to fix thousands of issues during October. You can learn more here: (https://hacktoberfest.digitalocean.com/)
To get started, here are some resources. You should pick a project and have something ready to commit when you come to the workshop.
