Lightweight Markup Languages

Simon Dew will give a talk about lightweight markup languages and tooling for documentation.

This talk will provide a very basic introduction to lightweight markup for technical communicators: why it’s useful, some of the formats and tools you can use, and how it differs from traditional markup such as DITA, and from applications such as MadCap Flare. You don’t need to bring a laptop, but there may be a little bit of hands-on practice if time.
