November meeting - User Research

November meeting - User Research

Details

We all want our documentation to meet user needs, but how can we make sure we understand what those needs are? Speaker Francesco Biondi, Ph.D. will delve into tried-and-true user research methods to help you learn more about your users. He will also address common organizational obstacles to implementing sound user research methods.

Francesco Biondi is an Assistant Research Professor in Cognitive Psychology at the University of Utah. His experience covers designing easy-to-use, adaptive human-machine interfaces with a human-centered approach. His background in Human Factors and User Experience has allowed him to measure and understand user behavior to improve product usability in a variety of roles in both the public and private sectors.

Programmers, technical writers, designers, support professionals, or anyone else interested in excellent documentation is welcome!

This event is cross-listed with Product Hive UT. Join Product Hive here: https://www.meetup.com/producthive_ut
