Tonight's talk: Writing documentation is fun and rewarding, but we face many challenges: it’s hard to find good writing tools, it’s hard to maintain outdated docs, and delivering to the end-users takes time. Documentation as code seeks to solve those problems by integrating authoring and publishing into the software development pipeline. In this presentation Geri will explore some of the tools to implement this new way of writing docs.

After Geri, Nicola will talk briefly about the tech writing education Google recently released and lead a short discussion about how documentarians can use these resources to have impact on their workplaces, new writers, and other communities.
