-------------------------------
When: Wednesday October 24th @ 6:30 p.m.
Where: Atlassian, 303 Colorado St #1600, Austin, TX 78701
Description
This month, we're excited to host Emmelyn Wang, an award-winning speaker, influencer, adjunct professor, and technical communication leader.
Emmelyn will share a sneak peek of Content Strategy for DevPortals, an API documentation and content strategy presentation that she will deliver at the API the Docs London conference on November 9, 2018 (https://apithedocs.org/london2018).
Drawing from her business, technical communication, and developer advocacy experience, Emmelyn will share insights on the following topics:
-
Building API docs: How and why proof of concepts matter
-
How documentation as output and process improvement can drive lasting influence: When documenting the same technologies through their life cycles, writers start to recognize patterns and that makes them valuable partners for architects, product owners, and engineering inside and throughout the engineering ecosystem
-
Docs as Developer Experience: Share stories and the information that help doc professionals win over stakeholders and implementors who have not yet developed empathy for the end users
