Orlando Word Lab

This is a writing workshop that will focus on learning a new technique or method each month. A guest speaker will share a sample of their work and then give a writing prompt for everyone to follow.

We'll all write for 30 minutes, and then share our work with others, and receive helpful suggestions about what to improve. Bring your laptops, tablets, or notebook and pen and a willingness to learn.

Deirdre Johnson will be leading this month's WordLab about writing prompts. She'll help us use writing prompts to shake loose the cobwebs and strengthen our writing muscles.

She'll show us how to treat our creativity like a muscle that should be exercised and write things that challenge us.

We'll be meeting at 7 PM on Zoom. This will be our last OWL of 2021 as we'll be taking November and December off.
