The Short Attention Span Storytelling Hour

Help us kick-off 2022 on a positive note. Or word. Or whatever.

Here's the scoop...

~Admission is free. There is no cover charge or fee of any kind.
~Newbies or seasoned veterans welcome. There's no experience or skill level required. Come in and share some of your work, whether it's an essay, short story, poetry, part of a novel, radio play, screenplay, or limericks.
~Please keep your reading/presentation to 5 or 6 minutes (or about 1,000 words). After that, we throw things. No, really.
~A sign-up sheet is available starting at 7:00 PMish. Mingle for a few minutes, grab some beverages if you like. The food menu is currently limited.
~If you don't want to read, you don't have to — you can chill and listen and support your fellow writers.

This month, our featured reader will be Nita Noveno, the current writer-in-residence at the Jack Kerouac House. She is a graduate of The New School MFA Creative Writing Program and the founder and host of Sunday Salon, a long-running reading series in the Big Apple (and online: https://www.sundaysalon.com).
