The purpose of this group is to provide an encouraging and supportive environment to help develop our innate capacity to write. No experience is necessary. Freedom to share or not share. Only positive feedback by resonance with shared material. No critique is offered unless requested.
Currently, we meet every other Thursday at 7 pm EDT online using the Zoom platform. In the past, we met every other Thursday online (until the Newmarket library opens again). We also during summer and fall will be meeting every other Saturday at Fairy Lake park.
Just Come and Let’s Write Together and Alone:

=> To sort out our life on the page and to create a new one in the world;
=> To enrich our inner life as a stepping stone to further evolutionary process;
=> To think clearly and handle our emotions wisely
Writing for the Self is one of many Mindfulness Practices and offers similar benefits of cultivating our Awareness and Insightfulness. Writing in a group creates a framework of encouragement, stimulation, and compassion.
