  • Meetup #11: 2017 Autumn edition

    Location visible to members

Welcome back after SIT Wrocław (https://blogs.sap.com/2017/05/30/sap-inside-track-wroclaw-2017/) and summer break (lasting through September as well...) Lots of things have happened since SIT, including UI5con (St. Leon-Rot, Germany) and first SAP TechEd of the year (in Las Vegas, USA). Mateusz Skadorwa and Tomek Wilk (from Capgemini) kindly agreed (and I did not need to push hard ;-)) to share their experience from UI5con and the presentation they did there: "IoT full stack scenario" IoT is the future, and SAP HANA is already future compatible. Is SAPUI5 the door for the users, to enter? IoT scenario will be presented, using such elements as Arduino, SAP HANA and SAPUI5. Temperature data are put in the HANA database, they are displayed in UI5 application in a chart, update in real time. The strong point of this presentation is the full stack development of IoT scenario, SAP makes it happen. Plus I would like to share some updates from my side about some major recent technology announcements from SAP. See you soon, and please note the new location! This meetup is in the new Capgemini campus - not the same as the previous meetups. It is the same campus where SIT happened, but still different building! -Vitaliy
