After work meetup!
We will be having another exciting meetup, where we will talk about Xamarin and other nifty tools. We have arranged two speakers, Christian Helle and Tomasz Cielecki, who will be talking about the following topics.
- Xamarin Memory Management and Debugging
Memory leaks are a common source of problems when building applications. In this talk, I will go through the common causes of memory leaks in managed code and how to avoid them. I will discuss memory management in Xamarin Android and iOS, and the differences between them. Last, I will discuss and demonstrate advance debugging techniques for hunting down the subtle and non-obvious memory leaks that could possibly hurt your application in the long run
- Cake build!
Cake build, run your build anywhere! On your own machine, on CI systems such as VSTS, TFS, AppVeyor, Bitrise, Jenkins. Build steps made in the familiar language C# built on top of Roslyn and Mono.
This is a talk on how and why you should write your build scripts in the Cake C# DSL.
