Come to YVR Startup's premiere large scale networking event featuring a Panel of local startups leaders. We want to show you the different faces in the startup world:

About the Panelists

Claire Jeong - StudentRDH (EduTech)

Claire is an entrepreneur in the field of education. She founded StudentRDH (https://www.studentrdh.com/) and StudentCDA (http://www.studentcda.com/) – which offer exams review courses for the dental hygiene and dental assistant students. The online solutions deliver quality content using e-learning technology and users find the process “addictive!”

Through her business, Claire became an expert in dental/medical content writing, online course creation, content marketing, and social media marketing.

Claire grew up in France and Korea, and now splits her time between the United States and Canada. Jeong has a Business Degree in Administration from Yonsei University, a Master’s Degree in Administration from Boston University, and a Dental Hygiene Degree from Forsyth School of Dental Hygiene in Boston. Prior to her entrepreneurial adventures, Claire was an education specialist at Boston Children’s Museum.

She speaks and writes in topics related to:

Daniel Dubois - ShareShed (ShareTech)

Daniel is a passionate adventurer and changemaker. Daniel is one of ten Canadian founders under the age of 25 that was chosen for The Next Big Thing (TNBT) fellowship where he is an Entrepreneur in Residence at Hootsuite. Daniel is creating a world of unlimited access to adve

nture as the founder of ShareShed and Guiides.com.

Daniel also spoke on stage in front of 20,000 youth at We Day, directed a film series on the collaborative economy, received a monthly grant from the Austrian government to conduct research on the European sharing economy, and traveled to over 30 countries. Since arriving at TNBT Daniel has been named Top 30 Under 30, a Canadian G20 Delegate and the top student entrepreneur in Canada by Entrepreneurs’ Organization.

In the last month, Daniel spoke at the G20 Young Entrepreneurs’ Summit in China, completed a 100km race along the Great Wall, and spoke to both Justin Trudeau and Prince William on the importance of fostering youth innovation and increasing access to outdoor adventure.

Julia Wei - ClinicMate (MedTECH)

Julia is one of the founders of ClinicMate, Canada’s largest online health discovery platform. We help Canadians find the healthcare they need when they need it. Our mission is to create a better healthcare experience for both patients and healthcare providers.

Edward Yuen (Eddie Y) is a startup enthusiast and writer for YVR Startups (http://www.yvrstartups.com), having been in the startup space since 2013 he has been involved with hackathon events (Part of the winning team at the 2013 Startup Weekend) and three startups in the 3D printing, crowdfunding, politics and eCommerce space. As a GrowthHacker Edward has helped startups and brands disrupt their niches by growing their online presence. Some of his achievements include 1000 opt ins over a weekend for a community project, 0-5000 opt in growth in 3 months for the political niche for the 2015 federal election and a network of online communities with over 70,000 subscribers.
