Early bird price - until Wed. Feb. 1: $75 per participant.
Regular price - starting Thurs. Feb. 2: $90 per participant.

• Time: 12:00 PM - 1:30 PM if the lesson is in Calgary
• Time: 1:00 PM - 2:30 PM if the lesson is in the mountains

• Locations: Various locations, which will be selected based on best snow conditions. Mostly likely in the mountains, with a possibility of a lesson in Calgary - see below for details

UPDATE: This Saturday program is for BEGINNER-level AND NOVICE-level cross country skiers to introduce the fundamentals of cross country skiing.

When you register, indicate your level of experience:

• Level 1 - Beginner (this webpage): A beginner has little to no cross country ski experience AND little to no downhill ski experience

• Level 2 - Novice (this webpage): A novice has cross country skied a few times AND/OR downhill skied a few times

• Level 3 - Intermediate program (click here (https://www.meetup.com/YYCSkiClub/events/236543082/)): An intermediate has cross country skied at least one winter but has not learned technique AND/OR have much downhill ski experience

• Higher Novice to Lower Intermediate: Learn to Tour (https://www.meetup.com/YYCSkiClub/events/237211965/)

• Step 1: CSC Membership (https://calgaryskiclub.org/) (click link for CSC homepage; then click "Join Now" on the CSC homepage). This program is for CSC members only, not for non-members.

• Step 2: CSC Meetup account. (https://www.meetup.com/YYCSkiClub/) Free. Wait for approval by CSC's Office Administrator.

• Step 3: Log into Meetup using your (newly created) Meetup account, and then register for this program on this webpage.

• Optional - Carpooling: Participants to coordinate with each other. The coach will already be at the lesson location.

• Lesson 2 - Sat. Feb. 18 (on Family Day long weekend): Location TBD - based on best snow conditions

• Lesson 3 - Sat. Mar. 4: Canmore Nordic Centre (we booked Meeting Room B on the second floor of the day lodge; use the stairs at the back of the day lodge)

NOTE: This winter, CSC's adults' lessons are in the afternoons, after the children's lessons which are in the morning. That means that the adults' and children's lessons will be in the same location on a given day. Lessons will be in various locations, mostly in the mountains, with a possibility of a lesson in Calgary. Lessons will most likely be at a different location each week.

----- CANCELLATION OF LESSONS -----

• CSC reserves the right to alter the schedule depending on registration levels, weather, and availability of coaches.

• Lesson will be cancelled if the temperature is colder than -20 C, including wind chill.
