This program has 3 lessons:

Note: NO lesson on Family Day long weekend.

Early bird price - extended until Wed. Feb. 8: $75 per participant when registering for the whole program... OR prorated to $25 per lesson if registering for 1 or 2 lessons.

Regular price - starting Thurs. Feb. 9: $90 per participant when registering for the whole program... OR prorated to $30 per lesson if registering for 1 or 2 lessons.

• Sat. Feb. 11

• 12:00 PM if the lesson is in Calgary
• 1:00 PM if the lesson is in the mountains

• Sat. Feb. 25 - Morning or afternoon, depending on the group's preference

• Sat. Mar. 4 - 1:00 PM - Canmore Nordic Centre

• Duration: 1.5 to 3 hours, depending on how the group feels.

• Locations: Various locations, which will be selected based on best snow conditions and weather forecasts. Mostly likely in the mountains, with a possibility of a lesson in Calgary - see below for details

----- DESCRIPTION-----

This Saturday program is intended primarily for the graduates of CSC's Level 2 Novice January 2017 program to practice their new skills as they ski tour with their coach. The coaching will continue into this program.

We will also accept a couple of additional participants. Your cross country skiing experience/skills should be between higher novice to lower intermediate level.

This will be a small group to allow for enough individualized coaching.

• Step 1: CSC Membership (https://calgaryskiclub.org/) (click link for CSC homepage; then click "Join Now" on the CSC homepage). This program is for CSC members only, not for non-members.

• Step 2: CSC Meetup account (https://www.meetup.com/YYCSkiClub/) if you do not already have one. Free. Wait for approval by CSC's Office Administrator.

• Step 3: Log into Meetup using your (newly created) Meetup account, and then register for this program on this webpage.

• Optional - Carpooling: Participants to coordinate with each other. The coach will already be at the lesson location.

• Lesson 1 - Sat. Feb. 11: Location TBD - based on best snow conditions and weather forecasts

• NO Lesson - Sat. Feb. 18: Family Day Long Weekend

• Lesson 2 - Sat. Feb. 25: Location TBD - based on best snow conditions and weather forecasts

• Lesson 3 - Sat. Mar. 4: Canmore Nordic Centre (we booked Meeting Room B on the second floor of the day lodge; use the stairs at the back of the day lodge)

NOTE: This winter, CSC's adults' lessons are in the afternoons, after the children's lessons which are in the morning. That means that the adults' and children's lessons will be in the same location on a given day. Lessons will be in various locations, mostly in the mountains, with a possibility of a lesson in Calgary. Lessons will most likely be at a different location each week.

----- CANCELLATION OF LESSONS -----

• CSC reserves the right to alter the schedule depending on registration levels, weather, and availability of coaches.

• Lesson will be cancelled if the temperature is colder than -20 C, including wind chill.
