What we're about

Welcome to Yoga Hikes! Sociable & Friendly Yoga Hiking Breaks

Yoga and Hiking is the perfect combination for a healthy, revitalising, enjoyable and friendly weekend break. We base all our breaks in very special places, start and finish the day with a yoga class and head out for great hikes on the doorstep.

"Just brilliant! Yoga and walking make the perfect couple, I've decided. Add to that a great venue, fabulous and plentiful food, homemade cake and great company, and you've a recipe for a perfect weekend. The fact it was in such beautiful surroundings as Windermere just made it even better." - Fiona, Feb 2017

All our weekends are run by Yen, who is a fully qualified yoga teacher and personal trainer and Kevin who is a fully qualified International mountain leader. We are based in the Lake District, so many of our trips are based here, but we also run trips to the mountains of Andalusia in Spain as well.

We generally focus on smaller group breaks of around 15 to 20, because we believe this is the ideal group size to manage safely and give everyone the opportunity to meet each other and make friends. Its also the ideal size for yoga class. We also run larger groups of up to about 30 and this then gives the opportunity to offer a choice of yoga class and level, plus offerring a choice of easier or harder walk options.

Tea & Homemade Cake
A popular feature of all of our weekends has become Yen's homemade cakes. This is a delicious and rewarding way to finish all of our hikes.

Fitness
We welcome people of all nationalities and backgrounds, the only requirement is a love of the outdoors and a good level of fitness. Our yoga hikes weekends are aimed at people who are already reasonably fit and are happy to participate in two yoga classes and walk for about 6 hours each day.

Please feel free to RSVP if you wish, however, we now only take firm bookings through our website. We have several Meetups and found it increasingly difficult to keep the Meetups and website booking numbers up to date and in synch with each other.
