Welcome to Yoga & Intuition for beginners and intermediate level Yogis, intuitive and gentle with a challenging edge for healthy expansion. My name is Maja Moritz and I am a certified and registered yoga teacher with Yoga Alliance (https://www.yogaalliance.org/TeacherPublicProfile?tid=152246) and specialize in intuitive Yoga. My teaching is Hatha Yoga based and the sessions will also provide deep relaxation at the end of each class. At present My classes are usually 75 minutes in duration.

Using your intuition with Yoga can greatly help listening to our bodies, gently adjusting postures to our individual needs, enhancing our overall well-feeling, and supporting you to create a practice which becomes uniquely your own.

Holistic Yoga is what you are enjoying in YogaIntuition classes! Holistic Yoga caters for your whole being: body, mind, and spirit. The 5 Tibetan Rites are an ancient practice, which has been called 'The Fountain of Youth'. It is based on balancing our energy centers, the Chakras.

Learn a practice that only takes 10 to 20 minutes per day to keep your body, mind & spirit uplifted and functioning in an optimal way!

"When you hold yourself in high esteem, and when you know that you are worthy of the very best that life can offer, what you are really doing is loving yourself. Self-love enables you to feel good about who and what you are, and this greatly speeds the renewal process. Those who dislike themselves or see themselves as inadequate carry a burden that can only accelerate the ravages of old age and ill-health. Those who enrich themselves with the treasure of self-love make all things possible." Said by the editor in the foreword to Peter Kelder's book 'Ancient Secret of the Fountain of Youth'.

This 9-week course will introduce you to the practice of the 5 Tibetan Rites and the Chakras. We will slowly build our practice over the course of the 9 weeks and focus on balancing one Chakra each week as well as learning about what causes chakra imbalances and explore various tools how to create a new balance for ourselves individually with symbols, colours, mantras/affirmations, gem stones and more.

‘Chair-ish’ your chairs...

* whether you are new to Yoga, then this is a great and gentle way to start, or

* you want to utilize all the time you spend on chairs each day to do something good for yourself at the same time and learn the moves how to weave in some fitness while on your chair anyway, or

* you might feel limited in your mobility for some reason and wish to explore a gentle way to invite some expansion to your range of movement

Whatever the reasons may be, learning to 'chair-ish' the times we spend with chairs is extremely beneficial for our well-being and well-feeling. There is so much more we can utilize our chairs for than just sitting on them!

We will explore chairs as our main Yoga tool and how we can take our practice off the mat and on to a chair. Each week we will discover some new chair variations of popular Yoga postures (Asanas), which will enable us to integrate some yogic moves into our daily lives whenever it suits us, offering our bodies some relief from long periods of sitting.
Getting playful in a Yogic style with our most used furniture will not only benefit our bodies but open our minds to new ways of moving & creating healthy habits as well as developing a fresh approach and new awareness about what serves us well and what doesn't.

We will experiment with lots of different variations of how to enrich and 'chair-ish' our life on chairs and you will then easily be able to bring some healthy fun moves to your time on chairs, at home, in the office, or wherever chairs make you take a seat in your day. It also can be a lot of fun to inspire others to join you in doing so!
