Welcome to Yoga & Intuition for beginners and intermediate level Yogis, intuitive and gentle with a challenging edge for healthy expansion. My name is Maja Moritz and I am a certified and registered yoga teacher with Yoga Alliance (https://www.yogaalliance.org/TeacherPublicProfile?tid=152246) and specialize in intuitive Yoga. My teaching is Hatha Yoga based and the sessions will also provide deep relaxation at the end of each class. At present My classes are usually 75 minutes in duration.

Using your intuition with Yoga can greatly help listening to our bodies, gently adjusting postures to our individual needs, enhancing our overall well-feeling, and supporting you to create a practice which becomes uniquely your own.

Yoga is perfect as a preparation for meditation, and restorative Yoga does this in a special way: Winding down in relaxing poses, letting go of tension, calming body, mind, and spirit... We will warm up the body at the start to make sure the body is prepared to absorb the benefits of the restorative poses in the best way possible. Please bring 2 blankets, a large beach towel and a small hand towel, and a cushion. We will do 5 to 7 poses and stay for some minutes in each posture. Variations of postures will be offered, so you can experiment and find the best way for you personally. You will learn about the benefits of each posture and in some cases even about the mythology and history of certain postures. Restorative Yoga can help to activate the self-healing energies of our bodies. We will relax to the beautiful music of Deva Premal & Miten, and finish the session with a guided deep relaxation. If you do have a religious orientation yourself which you prefer to follow, you are welcome as well of course. Our group offers a space of openness, tolerance, inspiration and oneness. No matter whether it is your first meditation or you have done meditation before, it is an open space for 90 minutes for you to sit as long as you like, and come and go as you please. Welcome to Term 2, Week 5: Time for Change ๐ŸŒธ๐ŸŒ€๐ŸŒ๐ŸŒฟ๐Ÿ”† You can't change what's going on around you, until you start changing what's going on within you. TheMindsJournal Most of us are sooo busy with what's going on around us that we have no time and space left to look within. The importance of the outside world is insanely overrated while the inside world is neglected at the same proportion. What kind of priorities do you set for yourself? Where do you allow your attention, your energy to go? Are you easily influenced by other people, the media, anything which is happening in the outside world? Or are you able to come home to yourself, find your sanctuary within - no matter what is going on around you? Our Western World societies do not offer much spiritual guidance at all, so many people simply end up pretty lost because NOTHING in the outside world will ever truly satisfy that deep inner longing for a fulfilled and meaningful life, that longing for contentment, inner peace, and freedom - which the blissful realization of oneness and unity with the whole of creation can deliver for sure. In Yoga, this blissful realization is called self-realization - which happens when someone consciously has chosen the path of mastering oneself. That's all that is needed. If we master ourselves and our inside world, change in the outside world will follow suit automatically. Paramahansa Yogananda, the author of the bestseller 'Autobiography of a Yogi', said: "Self-realization is yoga or "oneness" with truth - the direct perception or experience of truth by the all-knowing intuitive faculty of the soul..." The word Yoga means 'union' - union of body, mind and spirit - and it is the most interesting, exciting, elevating, and rewarding journey, we can ever embark on - as one of the ancient texts, The Bhagavad Git, pinpoints: Yoga is the journey of the self, through the self, to the self. A profound change is possible, helping us to dive into our inner world in order to find the truth about ourselves, when we transform our fears into trust. That sounds huge, but there are small and manageable daily steps and rituals everyone can do, to find their way into this transformation. Entering our world within, making ourselves at home there, and finding a safe way towards change can become the most incredible and satisfying experience. With taking charge of change in our inner world ultimately any illusion of separation ends and we can experience bliss in the here and now in a whole new way... Change & be happy!
