Hello! This is a group for people who are interested in exploring yoga and the practice of mindful eating. We spend part of our time together participating in mindful eating exercises, followed by a yoga practice designed to help us feel fully present in our bodies. Both of these tools can help people lose or maintain a healthy weight, but this is not the focus of this meetup. Rather, the aim is to equip each member with a safe space to help explore what it really means to have a healthy relationship with food and a deep appreciation for the body. There are no weight-loss goals to set or food journals to keep, and this meetup is open to anyone who would like to bring more intention and attention to the way they eat and move.
