Football at York Sport Village - 8:00PM

This is a chilled 5/6-a-side game at York Sport Village in the 3G cages. We kick-off at 8pm every Thursday, whatever the weather! We usually end at about 10pm.

Please ensure you sign-up for the event on Meetup if you are playing and remove yourself if you can no longer attend so we have a clear idea of numbers each week. If over 18 people turn up, anyone not attending on here won't be able to join. Where possible, RSVP before 6pm the day before the session.

You can wear plastic/moulded studs (not metal) but trainers are also fine. We're not really aggressive enough to merit shin pads but feel free to use them.

This is open to lads and ladies of all skill levels. It is an informal but structured game (not a serious/physical 5 a-side “league” style game). The aim is to have a good time and encourage others.

Your first week's free. After that it's £3, sometimes £5 if we upgrade to a bigger pitch if we have a lot of people. Pay on the night by contactless.

There is plenty of parking at the venue and various bus options from town.
