York Code Dojo May Meetup - Play the code obfuscation game
Details
This month we have a new game to try out based around the idea of code obfuscation.
To quote Wikipedia....
"In software development, obfuscation is the deliberate act of creating source or machine code that is difficult for humans to understand. Like obfuscation in natural language, it may use needlessly roundabout expressions to compose statements."
As usual we will work in pairs, and this session will be suitable for developers of all abilities.
If possible please bring a laptop with your programming language of choice already installed.
NOTE: Food in pizza form will be provided. On RSVP please could we ask you to make us aware of any food allergies prior to your attendance.
The venue is upstairs in the Fountains learning Centre, go into the library and either take the lift or stairs. It is normally well sign posted.
Sponsored by York St John University School of Art, Design and Computer Science.
