What we're about
Feeling lost in Indy? I hear you. Indy can be a hard city to break into, especially if you're new in town. Seems like everyone already has their group of friends, right?
Or, perhaps the church of your childhood, no longer fits your growing beliefs. You are not alone. So come: come to live and learn among others with an open-minded Christian faith that welcomes ALL people regardless of race, gender identity, sexual orientation, or anything else that places you on the fringe of a community you once called home. You can be at home in your body, mind, and spirit with us.
While finding a hub at St. Paul's Episcopal Church (http://www.stpaulsindy.org/), The Young Adult Fellowship seeks a home in your local neighborhood. We are committed to a participant-based approach toward Young Adult Ministry that builds friendship, transforms lives, and participates in God's vision of justice and compassion for all people. We engage with each other through worship, group study, and parish events and activities. Check out some of our recent events. (Please Note: Participation is always higher than RSVPs.)
Being Episcopalian isn't a requirement to participate in this group. We welcome your full self even if you are not Christian. That said, we look forward to getting to know YOU and whatever faith or lack of faith you carry into our time together.
Please note that while young couples with children are most certainly invited to attend, this particular group does not have the resources to provide events or childcare for children under the age of 18. If interested in family events, we can direct you elsewhere.
