What we're about
Hello and Welcome!
Whether you are an experienced light worker or have never before done anything but wonder what’s out there, you are invited to join us! Anyone can learn to access their intuition, become an emotional healer, meditate, bend spoons with their minds (well, don’t ask me how), and more. It’s usually our subconscious beliefs in our own limitations that stop us. These beliefs can be identified and shifted. One common, shift-worthy belief is that we are either born psychic or we are not. As with any other skill, our intuitive abilities improve with practice.
We on the founding committee are friends with relatively normal career paths so far. Though we can blend with the mainstream, we are no average Muggles! We are prayer warriors, healers, yogis, herbalists, astrologers, ET experiencers, karate masters, and veteran psychic meetup group attendees. We enjoy these psychic events but consistently find young people to be in the smallest minority. We dearly love our older friends, yet we felt there was something missing in our lives. So, we decided to open this group specifically to expand our friendships with active, fun-loving spiritual seekers close to our own age.
Please be in your twenties or thirties, plus or minus two or three years (though, we won't be carding you at the door). Join even if you are not directly in Chicago...because neither are many of us. We are traveling around the Chicago area--to the Loop, Lake Forest, Evanston, Lombard, Aurora, etc. Step up and lead an event with us in your neighborhood—we’ll attend! It’s cool if we don’t all have the exact same spiritual or religious beliefs. We don't all have to be at the same intuitive skill level either. Come to teach, come to learn, or both! All we ask is that you have a kind heart, an open mind, a sense of humor, and the will to only work with energies of love and light. We want to bring peace, joy, and healing to ourselves and to the world.
We plan to discuss metaphysical topics and do activities like psychic readings, healing shares, intention setting, art making, volunteering, playing games, stargazing, zip lining, yoga, meditation, potlucks, fire twirling, pow-wows, storytelling, frisbee golf, and whatever you want! Sometimes we just want to hang, be ourselves, and do normal things with like-minded people. So, not every gathering has to have a spiritual theme, though most likely will. As a teacher, I'm brave enough to have real mini lessons and discussions on a variety of metaphysical topics, led by myself or others. I'm also unafraid to assign fun, optional homework (haha) to increase your spiritual abilities. One week's homework was mirror affirmations in the manner of Louise Haye.
This group formed in June of 2018. Being new, we neither have a set structure nor a certain place where we always meet. However, we do like to have at least several events per month of a varying nature. We have no rule, but we try to keep events relatively inexpensive. Most so far have been free. Some of us will give or trade free psychic readings, classes, or healings, or do what we do by donation. Why? It's fun, and this is a place where we can practice our abilities, pressure-free. Some intuitive development groups are about making money. We are about making friends, learning, and growing.
Get in on the ground level and help us plan what you want to do. If you would like to be an event organizer, let us know, and we'll be more than happy to make that happen. We look forward to meeting you!
Sunshine and Miracles,

"Out beyond ideas of wrongdoing and rightdoing, there is a field. I'll meet you there." -Rumi
"And so I tell you, keep on asking, and you will receive what you ask for. Keep on seeking, and you will find. Keep on knocking, and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks, receives. Everyone who seeks, finds. And to everyone who knocks, the door will be opened." -Jesus, Luke 11:7-9
"When I was a boy and I would see scary things in the news, my mother would say to me,'Look for the helpers. You will always find people who are helping.'” -Mr. Rogers
"All the world’s major religions, with their emphasis on love, compassion, patience, tolerance, and forgiveness can and do promote inner values. But the reality of the world today is that grounding ethics in religion is no longer adequate. This is why I am increasingly convinced that the time has come to find a way of thinking about spirituality and ethics beyond religion altogether." -The Dalai Llama XIV
"Never eat more than you can lift." -Miss Piggy
