Hands-on intro to Kotlin

Details

Kotlin (https://kotlinlang.org/) is an open source language developed by JetBrains that targets Android, the JVM, browsers, and even native apps. Kotlin was created by developers for developers to address the challenges they face on software projects today. Kotlin is a simple, efficient, and easy to learn language that is 100% interoperable with Java. At I/O 2017 last May, Google announced that Kotlin is now an officially supported language for Android (https://youtu.be/X1RVYt2QKQE). We recently used Kotlin on an Android project and are big fans.

Join us in this technical hands-on workshop for an introduction to Kotlin. You'll leave with a good understanding of how to get started using Kotlin on a project of your own.

Note: you should have familiarity with programming concepts and bring a laptop.
