Welcome to the ZZP!
The ZZP is a cycling club consisting of a friendly international group of cyclists who meet regularly for biking adventures in the Swiss alps and beyond.
GROUP RIDE: Each Saturday we meet in Zug for out weekly club ride and all levels are welcome with 3 groups departing with various speeds. The route is the same each week - approximately 80km loop around the Rigi with around 500m of climbing with an optional coffee stop in Brunnen.
MEETING POINT: We meet at 8.00 am at the Speck Pfauen cafe in the Zug Old Town (Kolinplatz 19 close to the clock tower).
GROUPS: The first group and most relaxed ride (average speed 26kmph) leaves at 7:45am. The second group (average speed 30kmph) leaves at 07:55 and the third group (average speed (34kmph) leaves at 08:05.
ROUTE: We depart Zug old town, south along the Zugersee, heading around around the lake to Immensee and into Küssnacht am rigi. We then continue to Weggis and on to Brunnen for the optional coffee stop. We then typically split into smaller groups depending on rider preference. Some people head back directly to Zug, while others often head back to Zug via Sattel or beyond back to Zurich.
