Learn and Practice Public Speaking Online

Welcome to Zuriberg Toastmasters Club!

We meet about three times a month in the gorgeous guildhall above the Blue Monkey restaurant in downtown Zurich.

A place to learn…

After welcoming guests and members, we introduce the different meeting roles and the Word of the Day. Club members share their prepared speeches followed by the opportunity to network for halb an hour over dinner served by the restaurant. The second part of the evening is devoted to feedback and impromptu speaking. Every speaker receives feedback by an evaluator, followed by questions or statements that need to be answered to off the cuff. We call this Table Topics and guests are warmly welcomed to participate.

Did we seek within the time allocated, how often did we use filler words, how did we use the English language and did the speech evaluators point out how we could improve? The Timer, the Ah-Counter, the Grammarian and the General Evaluator will address these questions. We offer a welcoming and safe environment where you can learn and practice public speaking and hone your leadership skills. What’s more, no other Toastmasters Club in Zurich can boast such a beautiful stage.
