Andreas can speak fluently, convincingly and in a very entertaining way without slides and without any notes for 1 1/2 hours. There is no hesitation, not for a single moment, but still what he says is well thought and thorough and interesting. I am impressed!

Talk was super fun! I had to leave early unfortunately, but now I really wanna look into helping with that German translation of his book. We'll see. (:

Really good. Andreas is a seasoned performer who knows his stuff, make it understandable and can crack jokes when needed, and even about himself.

Lucas - with 141 attending ... maybe a nice sponsor could spend us some BEERS :) ??

    4 · March 23

    • Lucas B.

If there would be free beer we'd have 141 attendees even without anyone speaking ;D

I'll see what I can do.

You're right (again). Let's go straight for the dessert "Crypto-Valley Kirschtorte" :p

Anyone know of a local store selling this?
I've had problems with huge customs fees when ordering from Germany. Also nicer to support local businesses rather than Amazon.

    Is the event for free?

    March 9

    • Lucas B.

Yes. I hope people will learn something, become enthusiastic and build something cool with the new knowledge they gain from this meetups.

IMO technology is the only peaceful and successful way we can build a freer world, and things like the internet, blockchain, Bitcoin, smart contracts are key technologies for this.
So with this meetups I hope I can indirectly contribute towards a freer world, that's why they are free or as low priced as possible :)

To understand Blockchain technoloies you have to understand Bitcoin, which is the first, most used and most stable Blockchain application, running since 6 years with a 100% uptime.

"Talking blockchain without talking bitcoin is like trying to talk about professional basketball without talking about the NBA."
