Welcome and short intro 😀

1st Speaker William Kennedy https://www.goinggo.net 🎉

He will give a presentation about: How to focus on the design of your software, the things to think about and best practices. How to design code that can provide readability and simplicity within the concrete implementations that are at the core to solving the problems you are working on. But design also with change in mind. Asking what could change and applying the smallest levels of decoupling as possible to handle that change.

2nd Speaker Marty Schoch - Bleve - Full Text Search in Go 🙌

Marty is a developer at Couchbase leading development of Bleve, an open-source Go library for full-text indexing and search. The talk will start with an introduction to the library. Then we'll look at some examples of how its being used today. Finally we'll conclude with a section talking about our current effort to release a 1.0 version of the library.

Room opens at 19:00; Talks start at 19:15; Meetup ends at 22:00

Registration ends 2 days before the meetup starts.
