### Docker for R users
# Lynda Metref, Development Engineer at Helbling Technik AG

Docker is a container system allowing to run units of software. In this presentation I will explain more in detail what is Docker, how to use it, and most importantly how can it be useful to data scientists and R users.

### Toward production-ready user interfaces with the R Shiny framework
# David Granjon (@divadnojnarg), Institute of Physiology, University of Zurich

While more and more efforts are made to convert Shiny in a production-ready tool (shinyTest, shinyloadtest, shiny proxy, golem), fairly limited ressources are available to design outstanding user interfaces (UIs). In this presentation, I will introduce a novel initiative aiming at designing unique looking UIs, namely the Interface project (http://rinterface.com and https://github.com/RinteRface).
