Build with Next.js and GraphQL now – Thomas Preusse
How do you make GraphQL, server rendering, code splitting and CSS-in-JS happen? Next.js is as simple as create react app (https://github.com/facebookincubator/create-react-app) and makes all of it possible.
An introduction to Next.js 2, how to set it up with Apollo GraphQL and build a medium sized website with dynamic routes.
The presentation will be based on rebuilding a website with this stack, powered by an existing JSON API. The full source code of the website will be available under an open source license.
Why at Hotel Rothaus?
Project R (https://project-r.construction/) currently setup their offices in the hotel and is hosting the meetup. The place has been the winter base for artists, a hotel by the hour and is located right on Langstrasse – a good place to start a Journalism company.
