In our diet-crazed world, an emerging concept based on an ancient meditation model has been changing the way people approach weight loss, their relationship with food and improving their eating behavior. Have you practiced mindful eating?
There’s more to mindful eating than just simply consuming foods slowly without any distractions.
This workshop will go through the 10 basic steps set by accredited dietitian and blogger, Sandra Mikhail of Nutrition A-Z, to help us reconnect with food, our eating habits and our internal body cues. It is time we shift our focus from numbers, the scale and calories to learning about why we eat the way we eat.
We will end the evening with a delicious and nourishing dinner served by Simply Soup.
