Our talks:

gRPC - because REST was sleepy
by David Sutton

REST has dominated as the go-to mechanism for inter-service communication. This talk will briefly discuss its history along with modern alternatives before going into an example-based deep dive into gRPC.

Bio:
David Sutton is a Software Engineer that lives in the northside of Chicago. In their freetime they mess around with music and hardware, and during their worktime they wrangle Linux for Digital Ocean.
