Open Source Python SIG

Are you interested in contributing to open source, but don't know how to get started? Let's work on fixing bugs for your favorite python library or project. You're also welcome to join us if you just want to hang out and work on your own project.

You'll need:

• general knowledge of Python (but you don't need to be an expert)
• a computer with Python installed (a VM will work)

Nice to have:

• an idea of which Python package you'd like to work on

(PS: I can also help you with Debian packaging, but we decided Debian was too narrow of a topic for a SIG.)
