The UX Flywheel: How UX Strategy Enables Effective Marketing Teams

Details
No one wants to feel “marketed to” anymore, but there are still some brands people love. People only read headlines, but somehow, they spend hours online and know every line of their favorite movie.
What’s the difference? It’s user experience (UX).
Think of it this way: Your customers (and future customers) are already in the driver’s seat. Marketing is the vehicle that gets them to your product. UX is the roadmap that keeps them happily on track.
The UX Flywheel is a strategy model we’ve developed at Blink. This talk offers a compelling definition of strategy and an alternative to the “marketing funnel.” It will inspire you with UX stories about brands you’ll recognize. You’ll learn how UX can help identify opportunities, envision new services, introduce new products, and increase customer lifetime value.
⏲️Presentation to begin around 7pm

It's so easy to put your head into your screen, and so many of us work alone or on very small teams. And those of us on large teams need to remember the world outside those large teams. This group is intended to help us stay connected, get out of our holes; to always have someone to talk with about trends, workplace issues, design tools and approaches, job opportunities, and digital culture. 380 local designers and counting… join (free!) at sddd.org
