PLEASE REMEMBER : This is more of a Self Guided Event where you listen to the presenters or speakers and ask questions..etc...you choose what to do !

Paddling Season is slowly on its way,

But before then, might as well go to an event that highlights aspects of paddling such as safety, wisdom gathered by any of the speakers, some vendors will attend, and of course for you to ask questions..

The DEEP Boating Division in conjunction with the Connecticut Marine Trades is hosting Connecticut Paddle Expo on January 25, 2014. The event will be held on the Ballroom (Level 6) of the Connecticut Convention Center. Admission to this event is FREE. However, the CMTA Boat Show which is being held at the same time, would require the purchase of a ticket to enter.

I am hoping that you would be able to help us publicize the Connecticut Paddle Expo event. Would you please let the members of your Meet Up group and any other folks that may be interested in this event know about it.

I have attached a couple versions of the flyer for you.

Enter through front/side entrance, the Ballroom is on one of the top floors.

This is a free event , walk by the Power Boat Show and head up the stairs.

You can go to the Power Boat show but there is an admission fee for that or sneak in somehow ????

I personally park in East Hartford and walk across the bridge because i need the excersize anyway, ----> you can park where you like.
