About us
❌This is not a traditional reading circle, a self-help group, or a religious gathering.
This is a shared space focused on mindful living. We want to move from passive reading to active behavior. Our goal is to explore how different perspectives can help us rethink our daily experiences.
We read books focused on human values—such as the Dalai Lama’s The Art of Happiness —as practical guides to navigate our daily lives with greater wisdom. You only need a positive desire to bring these fresh perspectives into your everyday life!
Working on our own minds and bringing peace to others are completely inseparable. When we change how we view a stressful situation, the impact is simultaneous: we ease our own friction and release reactive thinking, while instantly bringing ease, patience, and empathy to the people around us. We develop ourselves while benefiting others.
The book is a tool to help us rethink our lives. When we meet, our conversation centers on these reflections:
- What perspective from the reading helped you take distance and observe a daily situation differently this month?
- Did you notice yourself becoming more aware of your automatic reactions when holding this new lens?
- In what ways did pausing to observe the situation allow you to bring more ease to the people you encountered?
To ensure everyone has the time to speak in a quiet, manageable environment, we strictly limit our active meetings to 8 members.
