April Discussion: James by Percival Everett

This heavily-awarded 2024 novel retells Mark Twain's The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn (a personal favorite) from the perspective of Jim. It won the Pulitzer last year, which is nothing to thumb your nose at. I'm intrigued to see both how it lives up to the original and how Everett reinterprets the classic.
