what we're doing this meet-up: sharing our favorite pieces of poetry
if u are not comfortable selecting a poem: read a random one during the session on a topic or emotion u are interested in :)) you can find some here: https://www.poetryfoundation.org/topics
we'll read and analyze and yap! done together with no pressure to analyze if u aren’t super comfy with poetic forms and techniques. no assigned readings beforehand. just come with curiosity to learn and an openness to discuss. show up as you are! bring any book to silently read before we start our group reading and discussion.

i strongly believe events like this should be accessible to everyone, so there’s no entrance fee. both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks will be available. please consider purchasing something to support the venue <3
