Listening to the Holy Spirit and following His direction is the way to eternal peace and happiness. It dispels the ego and all its fearful ideas of what life should be and gently leads you in the right direction. Following the Holy Spirit's guidance takes total trust, commitment and willingness to accept and not to judge his gifts. Be vigilant only for his kingdom for this is where you will remember God.

"The Holy Spirit is your Guide in choosing. He is in the part of your mind that always speaks for the right choice, because He speaks for God. He is your remaining communication with God, which you can interrupt but cannot destroy. The Holy Spirit is the way in which God’s Will is done on earth as it is in Heaven.” (ACIM Text-5.II.8)
