ACIM Thursday Evening Class with Dr. Gary Arnold

A Course in Miracles (also referred to as ACIM or the Course) is a 1976 book penned by Helen Schucman. It is a curriculum intended for those seeking to achieve spiritual transformation, that culminates in devotional non-duality. The underlying premise is that the greatest "miracle" is the act of simply Being Fully Conscious of "the Awareness of Love's Presence.

The group discussions of the Course include studies in a broad scope of other texts including from Toltec, Taoism, Upanishads, Advita Vedanta, David Hawkins, Gary Renard, Maryanne Williamson, Tony Parsons, Zen, Osho, Madhyamaka, Nisargadatta Maharaj, Ramana Maharshi and many others.

This weekly ACIM class began in New Orleans (Metairie) in 1988 and is one on the longest running ongoing classes, continuously given by the same instructor, Dr. Gary Arnold. The class is free and open to the public. We ask everyone to please be tolerant, open, receptive and friendly. We can be quite irreverent and jovial at times.
