Welcome to A Cozy English Book Club!

読書が好きですか？英語で本が読めたらと思っていませんか？
A Cozy English Book Clubは英文学や英語で出版されている小説を、辞書や文法書を片手に読みながら（あるいは訳しながら）、英米文化に触れ、英語力も一緒に向上させようという娯楽兼学習の場です。

[普段のイベントの流れ]

  1. それぞれが持ち寄った英語の書籍（小説や文学、物語性のあるもの）を紹介しあいます。
    好きな作品や作家について語り合いましょう。
  2. 一通り紹介や会話が終われば、英語の学習を兼ね、それぞれの作品を読み始めます。
    • 文法の参考書はオーガナイザーが持ってきます。訳文を書く人はノートかノートPCなどをそれぞれお持ちください。
    • (オーガナイザーは英検1級、TOEIC満点ですので、質問してくださればお答えします。)
  3. 感想を話しあった後、イベントを終了します。

[イベントの場所]
東京都心のカフェや、公園など、雰囲気のいいところを選んで毎回楽しんで読書ができるようにします。

[参加費用]
1回500円

古典から現代の小説まで、幅広いジャンルの英語の本を一緒に読み、楽しみましょう。

Welcome to A Cozy English Book Club.
This group's purpose is to read English related novels together while studying the language!
However, if you are a foreigner who's studying Japanse, you can bring a story book written in Japanese and study the language by translating it on the spot.
(As the organizer, and a Japanse who's proficient in English, I can answer your language questions if you stumble on them during reading sessions. Feel free to ask.)

[How usual events go]

  1. Bring a book you want to read (Either English or Japanese), introduce it, discuss it with members.
  2. Get down to reading. (or translating, bring your note or laptop)
  3. Talk about the day's reading, discuss about next time, etc.
