The breakfast club has been quiet for a while so let's go check out the new brunch joint keeping Petersham's Portuguese culture strong.

Not your usual bacon-and-egg fare, Lunas dishes up modern Portuguese plates from chouriço scrambled eggs spiced up with sobrassada butter to sardines on toast with molho verde, a punchy herb sauce.
I'm looking forward to their specialty, the Portuguese tart hotcakes, loaded with a baked Portuguese tart custard, sprinkled in cinnamon, and finished with vanilla ice cream.

The cafe does not take reservations so we do not have a booking.
I'll arrive at 10:30am, jump in line and put our name down for a table.

No cancellation fee but please be considerate and update your rsvp accordingly.
