A Guided Walk in the Woods

Join me for a guided walk at Topanga State Park. We will be meeting up at Trippet Ranch. I am an experienced docent, trained in the Santa Monica Mountains. Trippet Ranch is my favorite place because it is such a beautiful location. The walk will be for those who would like to learn about our local Chaparral ecosystem. It will not be an aerobic activity - lots of stopping. Parking is $10 or park on Entrada for free and walk a few of blocks. Depending on other group events, parking lot may be full. We will be meeting at kiosk with animal photos.
We will be meeting for lunch before the walk at Endless Color restaurant in Topanga. It’s next to the post office. Make sure to look behind the restaurant for additional parking.
Feel free to just attend the walk, but please let me know. The restaurant requires reservations.
The walk will be canceled if it rains.
The rain has caused some erosion so the beginning of the trail is uneven. Please wear shoes with traction.
